6 Weekend-Worthy Cocktails


Indulge in one of our favorites signature cocktails served at W Austin. It goes by the name, The Rio Grade, and it is the perfect blend of sweet, sparkling and oh-so delicious.

  •     - 1.5oz Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka

    - .5oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

    - .75oz fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice

    - .25oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice

    - 1 lemon or grapefruit halve

Directions: Pour over ice in a mixing glass. Mix with a shaker tin and strain over a fresh glass of ice. Top with a dry California sparkling, such as Mumm Napa. Garnish with a lemon or grapefruit wheel.


A tall libation conceived when mixologist Eben Klemm was looking over the Living Room Bar and Terrace at W New York - Downtown, reflecting on the juxtaposition of old and modern architecture across the horizon. For that reason, we give you both new and old elements of NYC, served over ice.

    - 2oz. Bianco Vermouth

    - 2oz. Watermelon Juice

    - 1 lime wedge

Directions: In an ice-filled long glass, pour ingredients, stir and garnish with lime.


On Peachtree Street in the middle of “The Rodeo Drive of the South,” this guest favorite quenches the thirst of thirsty sunbathers at the WET Deck from April to October. Dive into this sweet sip, courtesy of W Atlanta – Buckhead.

    - 4 fresh strawberries 

    - 1.5oz. Patron tequila

    - 0.5oz. fresh lime juice

    - 1oz. agave syrup

    - 1 scoop ice

Directions: Muddle 3 strawberries in mixing glass, then mix with remaining ingredients in shaker tin and shake vigorously.  Pour mixture into 12 oz. cup. Garnish with lime and last whole strawberry.


This is a Puerto Rican spin on the traditional Mojito. The Mixologist at W South Beach found inspiration in the ideal surfing and beaches of Rincon, PR, where primary agriculture includes fresh fruits and sugar cane.

    - 2oz. aged rum

    - 1oz. lime

    - 1oz. simple syrup

    - Muddled blueberry/raspberry

    - Soda

Directions: Add ingredients to shaker tin and shake vigorously. Pour mixture into an ice-filled glass, stir…and enjoy.


Fans of the W Los Angeles – Beverly Hills crave a refreshing glass of class with a unique mix of rye and raspberry. Take a dive into this sweet cocktail.

    - 2oz. Templeton Rye

    - 1oz. Grapefruit juice

    - 1oz. Fresh lime juice

    - 2-3 Basil leaves

    - 1oz. Fresh lime juice

    - Fresh raspberries

Directions: Pour ingredients into shaker tin and shake vigorously. Pour mixture over crushed ice and garnish with raspberries.


Have a taste of the glamorous life at the WET Deck with a play on champagne and caviar. This Ascendant Spirits’ vodka was custom-made especially for the W Hollywood.

    - 2oz. American Star caviar lime vodka

    - 0.5oz. fresh lime juice

    - 1oz. champagne

Directions: Pour vodka and lime juice into a shaker tin filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Top with champagne and lime wedge.
